Tim Engling
Experience
With a technical background in the mechanical and electromechanical arts, Tim enjoys smart, innovative, entrepreneurial and creative people, which complements his passion of intellectual property law. In representing the manufacturer of a very successful kitchen gadget, Tim conducted patentability searches, helped design around other products, and prepared, filed and obtained patent protection. With the right to exclude others, the unique and innovative product achieved acclaim and sold well. Further, when infringed, the client enforced its patent rights to stop infringers and collect damages.
βIt was fulfilling to help the client in various roles to meet its needs, attain its goals and achieve success with an innovative product.β
