Matthew Steele concentrates his practice in commercial real estate matters including financing, acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, development, loan workouts, and foreclosure litigation, primarily in Ohio and Kentucky.
He has represented national lenders and regional banks on commercial mortgage originations secured by retail, office, multifamily, and industrial properties throughout the Midwest. Matt also represents major financial institutions and special servicers in all stages of commercial real estate workout and foreclosures for both securitized and portfolio loans. He also counsels court-appointed receivers in all aspects of property management and disposition.
Assisted a foreign auto parts manufacturer in the purchase of a former General Motors light duty truck plant in Moraine City, Ohio, a $200 million project that brought more than 800 jobs to the area.
