Mark Oudersluys assists clients in developing and implementing records management schedules and programs. He provides assistance with the review of existing client records management programs, schedules and business processes in relation to new legislative requirements. Mark also reviews and updates corporate records management policies, procedures and retention schedules, and provides records-relating training.

Experience

Prior to joining Miller Canfield, Mark was the Director of Global Records Management, Office Management Services, and Administrative Services at Pfizer and its predecessor companies, where he was employed for 31 years. At Pfizer, among other things, he implemented an annual Corporate Records Compliance and Auditing process, managed the transition of the records management function for three company mergers, ensuring that the records management program and policies complied with all applicable laws and regulations, and designed and implemented a global e-mail retention policy that included an automated purge of documents that exceeded the applicable retention time period.
