A seasoned litigator with extensive experience in all aspects of commercial, product liability and tort law, W. Mack Faison’s practice typically involves cases in which he serves as the lead counsel or as a senior counsel in complex matters that require a team of principals, associates, legal assistants and support staff. His broad background in such cases uniquely positions him to get the best results for his clients.

"I am experienced in putting together interdisciplinary teams of lawyers, experts and support staff to represent clients in complex, high-profile cases. I litigate to win."
W. Mack Faison

Experience

Mack’s recent cases include serving as lead counsel for a product manufacturer in commercial tort/product liability cases in a series of national class actions, multiple party actions and attorneys general actions. He has also represented a school district in a class action asbestos product liability case, a hospital in a commercial/employment/civil rights arbitration and federal court action, a major financier/real estate company in a buy/sell agreement for a shopping mall, a governmental entity in a class action welfare rights case, and a music company in a First Amendment case. He has recently argued appellate issues in personal injury and police misconduct cases. Mack also does pro bono work, including assisting a client in the purchase of a building.

“When the pro bono matter was resolved in our favor, the client said 'It's good to know that ordinary people can sometimes be represented by Miller Canfield-type lawyers.'"
