With extensive experience in all areas of family and domestic relations law, Lynn Capp Sirich skillfully guides her clients through the legal process, always mindful of the fact that she is often dealing with emotional and stressful situations. Her broad range of services includes prenuptial and postnuptial agreements; divorce, annulment and separation matters; custody and parenting time issues; change of domicile, personal protection orders; property settlements; and Friend of the Court matters. When disputes end up in the courtroom, Lynn is also a seasoned litigator.
What distinguishes our family law practice from other family law practitioners is the fact that we can draw on the resources of our 350 lawyers who are experts in everything from corporate and securities law to real estate, tax and estate planning.”
Lynn Capp Sirich
Experience
In a post-judgment custody matter, Lynn represented a father whose former wife moved their children to a different school district without prior approval as required under their joint custody order. The court, after a lengthy trial, ruled in favor of the father, and the children remained in their excellent school system. In another matter, Lynn represented a young wife and mother in a high-stakes and highly contested divorce case. The husband went to great lengths in his attempts to minimize the marital estate and hide his numerous infidelities. After committing perjury during the trial the husband accepted a settlement that was extremely beneficial to the wife and was then ordered to pay 100 percent of the wife’s attorney and expert fees in a post-judgment ruling by the judge.
“I try to resolve my cases in an amicable and expeditious way in order to minimize the stress on my client. But if we have no choice in the matter, we are prepared to do battle in court.”
