John W. McNair has almost three decades of experience representing automotive manufacturers in product liability litigation throughout the United States. At Miller Canfield, John has coordinated the preparation of pre-trial discovery responses in product liability litigation, working closely with clients’ engineering staffs. He also has been involved in the development of responses to governmental regulatory request related to vehicle safety issues.
“I focus on making sure that all details are fully attended to and all consequences are carefully thought out.
John W. McNair
John also works with manufacturers to develop technical literature to improve clarity and warning language.
Experience
John has been involved in a number of cases where he has worked with technical experts to develop the forensic aspects of demonstrative evidence for deposition and trial testimony.
“In a case involving an allegation that a vehicle produced by my client was defective because it overturned in an accident, I was instrumental in the development of demonstrative evidence to show that a broad range of vehicles would overturn in the same accident and worked with my client’s experts to prepare an effective presentation of the evidence at trial.”
