Experience
Bob has assisted a franchisor in a transition of its franchise system to comply with the legislative requirements in the jurisdictions in which the franchise operates. From Disclosure Documents through negotiating restrictive covenants and territorial arrangements, the system was updated without disruption or difficulty among the system franchisees.
“Understanding franchise legislation, providing a client with the most current and creative practical contractual protection, and dealing with the very real personal relationships that are at the heart of every franchise relationship, are critical components of any fundamental change within a franchise system. Strong communication skills and patient but firm discussions and negotiations enabled this project to be completed under budget and ahead of schedule.”
